I have a 2001 BMW 525iT with a manual transmission that I must sell. I would like someone who will appreciate the rarity of it to buy it so I am posting here first.
Currently I have no pictures to post but I will in due time.
I bought the car from a dealership in LA and had it shipped to me here in Pittsburgh. It has only seen one winter and has no corrosion or rust.
104k miles
Manual Transmission
I drive it everyday and I need a truck for work. I can't fathom keeping this as a third car and letting it sit for long periods of time. She deserves to be driven dammit.
When I list it I will list for $10,000 (that is US dollaroos).
If anyone is interested let me know and I will send pics ASAP.
Thanks

I have a buddy near you that is looking for a used wagon as a third car for some light kid-hauling duty and was pretty interested until I saw your price. Can you explain the $10k figure? KBB.com (which is not necessarily the end-all authority) says under $4k in excellent condition with all the options.

Is it a sport pack? Color combo? Other options?

Anywhere? They're all over the place outside the US:

I assume by the dismissive answer you meant to be rude even though with the right answer I might have pointed an actual buyer in your direction (so thanks for that), but if by some off chance you didn't then you just could have said "I expect to get a significant premium since manuals are rare."

I apologize for my dismissive tone. I did not mean to be rude. I was being hounded by the wife to get off of my phone so I had to be quick.
I meant to say that it is next to impossible to find one of this vintage with a manual that is good enough shape to jump in and drive daily. If I have to wait for the right buyer I can afford to do that. I don't need to sell quickly and I won't because I love my car and I won't sell it for what the KBB market dictates. Most people who search for this car will understand that the price is high because of what the car is.
